Oh man, this reminded me of back in uni when “some people” leaked a bunch of maintenance data from the slumlord that monopolized all the property around the university. It prompted a wave of backlash against the rental company and led to multiple acts of vandalism on their leasing offices and signs.
What most people don’t know was that a couple of their locations also got the old superglued lock treatment, lol. A few times actually. They often illegally withheld key deposits for no reason so it was kinda poetic justice that they had to repeatedly call and pay locksmiths every couple weeks.

Might have been tinfoil? Never tried it, but just putting a small bit of tinfoil in there should make it unable to open the lock even though the key could still go in.
