Ok look, i grew up with a cat. We’ve had three for years. I’m well used to the sad inevitability of scootch trails.

It’s when they start next to the human toilet i get nervous.

Borrow a few slow cookers? Easy to do a 2.5 - 3 kg chunk of pork in each of them, do some amazing pulled pork creation at the other end of it. Don’t need a special kitchen or any magic catering considerations.

You can likely do lamb/beef just as easily, but pork is my go-to for crowd cooking.

Rent a big fridge for a week. Hot pot is an option. Maybe two or three hotpots with different flavour profiles. Or a bbq (immersion in Aussie culture). Satay sticks or similar. Party pies and potat caks! Anything that can be prepped ahead of time.
