The problem with a lot of theories/theorists is that they operate from the premise that all this secret evil nefarious shit MUST be in service to a deep long held dark secret at the core of America that no one but a few of the true elite may know, and which above all MUST be concealed from the public (IE they’re reptilian entities, or aliens, or templars, or whathaveyous). The reality much more mundane and disappointing.

I always like to start my scientific materialist analysis with things like “monsters” and “evil”. I also love to act like any suggestion that people with aligning class interests collaborate on any way is just crypto-nazism instead of just how a social creature like homo sapiens acts in all normal circumstances.
