Owned the game for years (including DLCs) and never felt compelled to pick it up until recently. Put about 30 hours into it so far and holy shit the amount of content in this game is insane. I’m still in Velen/Novigrad area switching between contracts, exploring POI and side quests and I’m having a blast.
Witcher 3 is a fun game!
I could never get into that game. I’ve tried like three times and I always get like 10-30 hours in before I get bored of the combat
Unless you’re doing Bonebreaker: Don’t worry too much about the sidequests, there is a LOT of them. (Unless you’re enjoying them, in which case do them: I’m not your parent)
Just enjoy the main quest, especially if you read the Novella series that features Ciri in it. It makes the game so much better. The expansions are totally worth playing, but Blood and Wine is the best one of the two.
Blood and Wine
best one of the two
Touissant is featured in Blood and Wine

I liked Hearts of Stone, but it really wasn’t that good as Blood and Wine. Especially if you’ve read the Ciri arc where they bring back a fan favorite character and featured an area Geralt and his party stayed like half a year.
