This is why, despite everything they do that I oppose, and there’s a lot, China is unironically good for the world. Stopping US hegemony is a major goal in decreasing the power of capitalism.
i mean if you really just want to get down to how western leftists feel about a country is how secure and safe their life is. In China, living is easy, your ppp is higher, unemployment virtually gone, retire at 55 with full support… like ok china doesnt have the western values of “freedumb” (which is a bunk concept anyways) but it is really fucking good living in china. It really is, my aunt was a kindergarten teacher during the more turbulent 80s era and made like 10 RMB a day. After retiring, her pension was 100 RMB a day and has grown consistently as the public pension fund gets more and more funding. Meanwhile living next to the imperial core I’d be lucky to survive until retirement.
