I don’t care if some new cop says it’s okay because he knows what he’s doing, or that some old cop thinks it’s okay because he saw it on some old TV or in a movie, or that some old cop thinks it’s okay because it popped out of his pocket and his grandkids didn’t hear it, or that some old cop thinks it’s okay because it was in a movie or television and he went to put his hand up and said, “Never mind, just put your hand up for your 'em,” while holding a cigarette and looked away from the rest of it.
And now you and I both know that this is just a power trip to try to make the other guy look bad so we can control the conversation and make it about the cop, the TV, or the show.
This is so false.
How is this not as far-fetched as it sounds?,
