Its genuinely depressing to type this. We were assigned a box of shitty off brand chocolate bars, with like 50 of them inside. You’re supposed to sell them for a dollar each or something like that, and any you don’t sell by a certain date, you have to buy. This is what we have instead of tax funded education.
Fuck I had the off-brand candy bars too. I think I tried to do it for 1 year, then the other 3 my grandparents just paid for the box or whatever the minimum was.
Then there were also the car washes.
