I stopped following anime fandoms because there was so much sexualization of kids. Then when you say “wtf this is pedophilic” they just hit you with “yeah bro it’s ok they aren’t real, stopped getting so worked up about it”.
imo it’s fine if you are a perverted sex freak, there’s no hell you’re going to that’s worse than this, but the victimhood complex that overgrown postadolescent pornfic authors and other kinds of nerds develop when they realize their interests make them unsuitable to function around normal people is always embarrassing.
