Cannot believe that I, a person in their 20’s, got vaccinated before my parents, my grandparents, or my 78 year old coworker (who is currently sick with covid)
good on you old buddy, my parents never vaccinated me because it would give me autism
even though i was already diagnosed with autism
It’s like Fred Flintstone getting hit with a coconut, it actually undoes autism.
Wait how does that work
Actually fuck that how do you have a 78 year old coworker??

Just the US doing normal US shit, I suppose.
Most likely grocery store shit. The local monopoly here employs exclusively 16 year olds and septuagenarians. They also employ deaf and blind people, but pay them sub minimum wage because that’s apparently legal. Also starting wage is $7.25 with 25¢ raises every year until you hit $10. Cost of living here is $22/hr @ 40 hours for anyone living alone.
my friend is in their 20s and works at a grocery store/pharmacy hybrid. they got vaccinated bc they had a few spare vaccines no one wanted (?)
Just checked, I’m currently number 20,000 in line and there’s at least 3 covid cases at my job 🙃
Depends on your state and insurance company but yeah I don’t think they’re prioritizing retail workers anywhere
Do you work for a hospital?
My wife got her shot a month ago because she works for a hospital system even though she’s a work-from-home data analyst lol.
