Was it ever based? At its height it struck me as nauseatingly liberal, the same ideological lane as /r/drama. /r/subredditdrama, still pretty right-leaning, disliked them from the left.
r/AgainstHateSubreddits shares moderators with r/enough_commie_spam where fascist memes and talking points run rampant. I heard someone reccomend r/HateSubsInAction but I dont have the time to actually monitor it.
As I remember, the AHS users themselves nearly always downvoted posts about “left-wing hate” into oblivion, to their credit.
I’d hate it but it’s probably for the best if SLS would get banned. Hating on liberal cringe has become my crack, given how much I encounter it on “normie” subs.
Circlejerk subs have been a godsend as of late after Chapo got banned. Some of the funniest shit I’ve seen on Reddit in a while.
At least Chapo actually had some influence on Reddit, we were a pretty big sub. Genzedong posts rarely ever break 1000 upvotes.
I’m sure Reddit admins are rate limiting and slow-rolling shit on lefty subs.
