Thanks for taking the time to reply, my boss had a variety station on doing the “hollywood gossip in between songs” segment and I was just mind broken for a bit. I thought the minions memes were us terminally online sorts being ironic about a boomer Facebook :brainworms: niche thing.
I feel less insane now.
Something about using the word “water” as a verb to reference giving water to a person just feels off
Based.
Also, that badass who saved up and sent a letter to Stalin with the enclosed funds to construct a tank along with the request to be its driver so she could avenge her slain husband. She fought. She killed nazis. She got out of the tank every time it was disabled and repaired it under fire. She may not have lived to drive through Berlin, but her crew did. The same tank.
Anyone who says women don’t literally fight in wars has never bothered to study what a war of survival looks like and the badass women who stood between would be exterminators and their people.
We need a :nightwitch: emoji or something
The kindness of this place is why I’m still here in like my 50th account because I feel guilty after being an ass or making a terrible take. The people here are comrades, simple as. And sometimes simple is best. Simply kind. I hope he returns, learns, and gets to post an epic fucking dunk on the inevitable next time this happens.
I’m starting to believe the people who clean bathrooms. Maybe men really do clean up after themselves better. These people clearly don’t.
Why is this movie so viral? Why was the original? I’ve never seen them. Are they actually good? Is it ironic? Is this Facebook boomers discovering ironic memes? My brain is breaking
People like this are why we don’t just need another Stalin. We need a century of Stalins. We need an entire cohort of living memory fearing the gulag to erase this bullshit.
