Well… this is practically the story of how I recently ordered a KX2.
The 7300 is great when I want power and lots of options. Turns out it’s a dread to haul when I go out to try just to try and whisper.
The Verge’s title is a bit click-baity.
Is the ESA destroying a new satellite? Yes.
Is that what the satellite was designed for? Also yes.
It will have over 200 sensors to capture re-entry data in a special capsule which will then transmit for up to 20 minutes after reentry and before reaching the ocean.
The mission IS the re-entry.
I reckon Point Nemo (48°52.6′S123°23.6′W) might be fairly quiet.
Now to get a research grant and head out there with my rig…
