Based upon previous behaviour, you can guarantee that Meta will not act in good faith in the long run. IMO they don’t give 2 shits about any of the ideals of the fediverse or the open web before that. This is like the Taliban promising that they would be good guys this time around. See point 6.

I just got back from the CBD, the incident would have occurred sometime between 6-7pm-ish. I didn’t see it becuase I was having dinner near the GPO, but walked up Bourke St about an hour ago. Lots of police, fire, ambulance, sirens and police tape.

Here is a screenshot. Couldn’t upload it directly using both Vivaldi/Chrome or Firefox browsers on a Mac. Using Voyager, am getting (os error 107) when trying to add image to a post.
