Non profits are corporations. Most of these causes should be government administered programs, but the ruling class needs to make money in all parts of the world. What’s wild is if you look at these non profits besides the money they get from wealthy donors, most of them get a big chunk of their funding from the government.

Some actually do help communities, but many do not have enough capital to make the impact needed on the projects they’re in charge of “fixing.” So the burden of labor comes harder on workers, and managers are even more exploitative. And with a work environment like that there’s not much organization. Workers often feel indebted to the cause so they’re less likely to stand up and organize themselves.

Also there’s tons of non profits that do more harm than good to the community and yet people work at them to go home at night thinking they did something good.
