I would like a general sports comm so I can post about hockey. We can gauge by the threads which sports should get their own comms.

Having a hot chud take on trans rights and then hiding behind civility is pretty much 90 percent of what I hate about Reddit. It’s an extreme example but there will be people who spew garbage and we should be able to mock them relentlessly.

A lot of people get into games development related programs (myself included) without realizing what a horrific industry game development is and how much work actually goes into making a video game. Realizing now that you might want to do something else is better than down the road, when you have a degree and a job that you absolutely loathe.

Digital Forensics seems like it’ll give you a general knowledge in IT, from networking to programming to sysadmin, which will at least give you some options on what lane you want to pursue. It’ll also give you a wider field of employment, you could be developing drones that vaccinate animals or have a bougie corporate job where you read theory on the toilet for 3 hours a day.

It definitely needs to grow but it’s a start, and if we create a fun environment for the left to shitpost I’m sure it will become more popular that /r/cth ever was.

I used to pronounce it the same way, but now I’ve completely switched to calling all instances of bourgeoisie/bourgeois bougie. It’s probably not correct, but it’s a silly word anyways

The US has to buy this useless bullshit from Lockheed Martin or else they’ll end up being purchased by China or Russia, along with trillions of dollars in department of defense research.
