This town, in fact, has more than enough room for the two of us

Direct message

People clearly support that, and it makes sense, considering Lemmy’s founder is a Communist and decentralization appeals to Leftists.

Love Anarchist philosophy, I think it’s literally radical as hell, but holy shit Anarchists are just as whiny as Tankies sometimes.

Rather than posting infighting memes or debating online, try to educate and learn more yourself, build up your community, actually do something. These memes are just cringe.

Because if you’re not advocating and actually doing praxis, then you should be spending time on yourself and enjoying life, or working to support yourself and those around you. Infighting memes are just cringe.

There are too few hours in the day to spend any time with infighting memes, lmao

The true hot take most aren’t ready to hear is that launch Starfield is a better RPG than launch Skyrim and launch Fallout 4, even if it’s a mediocre game overall.

IP shouldn’t exist in general.

I prefer social media not based on addiction. Lemmy has been much better for my lifestyle, than my reddit addiction.

Same reason Linux is popular on Lemmy. Lemmy is essentially an explicitly leftist community that appeals to people nerdy and techy enough to leave Reddit and join a smaller platform. Linux is a FOSS, ie leftist techy OS. Star Trek is leftist Sci-Fi.

Nerds, tech, and leftism all congregate on Lemmy.

It was founded by a Communist, and decentralization appeals to leftists. The non-Communist lemmy is Reddit, basically, or making your own instance or finding an anti-Communist instance.
