I don’t find it funny either, I’m simply giving some advice to those who like me a few months ago, were stuck worrying about this or that propaganda to the point where it was mentally unhealthy.
I’m not saying don’t attempt to counter garbage propaganda, just don’t fixate on it so much that it demoralizes.
So what? How is any of this going to change anything exactly? Quit worrying about shit you have no control over. At the end of the day, whatever happens, happens. We can only do our best debunking shit and if it works on some people, great! If it doesn’t, we shrug and move on.
I agree that we shouldn’t be so relaxed to the point that we just don’t bother challenging any narratives. On the other hand though, we shouldn’t allow our thoughts to be so dominated by propaganda and various online spaces that we become depressed over it. I think if you read my past comments, you’ll get glimpses of me that showed I got kinda consumed by propaganda (not believing it, but obsessing over it). Things usually aren’t as bad as our imaginations make out. The US has thrown a lot at China over the years and they just keep marching on, their position improving by the day.
Just this past month I’ve seen 2 pro-China tiktok videos, 1 explicitly pro, one more subtle that genuinely surprised me because many people liked them enough to get them viral. Worldnews subreddit slowly starting to defend China was also a pleasant surprise. Just knowing there are a growing number of people fighting alongside you makes the day so much better.
Lol. And we care about their feelings, because?
Yawn. Oh, Australia is a vassal of the US? Like we didn’t know that already. Shit like this is just new material for the usual hawks to jerk off to in their articles.
