i just find it pathetic how transparent this entire maneuver has been really. the inevitable pivot to trying a enw thing, to it being about defending minorities somehow, and now to “wow you really could be doing something better with your time”.
Like, why? I honestly dont get why anyone would want power over an internet forum. and then require the respect of the users for doing it. i think theres legitimately something wrong with you all. maybe some sort of savior narcissist complex or something. you can in fact, eat my ass
and at least rebro liberal that he is and equally sad individual could admit to the fact that he was running things without our consent, rather than desperately and pathetically try to manufacture it. like if you admitted it, said well its just a forum and this ones ours find a different one or dont, it would be more respectable

but then why have upvotes, instead of just telling them it was good?
getting rid of voting altogether isnt a terrible idea, but it might get unmanageable in such a big community. or maybe it would be fine idk, but if i was mod id still at least ask people before i made that change
what was the problem that needed solved? like was there any demand for this at all. why is the goal to turn this place into a hugbox
