The material conditions are totally different. I know he is a chud but Peter Zephan was on the money. Geopolitics can be reduced to purely physical and material concerns. Those made the Ukraine war inevitable. They also make an invasion of Taiwan highly unlikely unless the west manages to leverage a fulcrum that it is completely unacceptable.
Poland is hungry. I know several polish nationalists and they are A) wanting revenge against Banderites B) wanting to do some revanchism and take land back.
If Poland gets involved in a weapons hot manner I won’t be surprised if they act as a wild card pursuing their own interests.
Do we actually think that the Ukrainian People (with a capital P) have a say? Like, I understand the military aspect of making the populace feel the cost of war (in a democratic country [or at least a nominal one]). But does this actually affect strategic stuff or is it just making the average person suffer more?
