I’m 10 years younger than you and I can relate to almost every word you said. Idk what the solution is but I hope it’s some comfort to know that you’re not alone with these feelings.

Are you involved in any communist or socialist parties in your area? If you’re in america there’s gotta be a local DSA and that’s better than nothing. Try to get involved in mutual aid programs even something like volunteering at a food bank will make you feel good.

or doing other shit that I know is probably actually a bad idea (although bright side is it mostly revolves around :porky-scared: so there’s that

If you’re talking about something violent here, don’t. The world is already so needlessly violent as it is.

Someone’s going to have to organize, educate, agitate, and communicate leftist thought to rural midwesterners. If not you, then who else? No Lenin, Marx, Jesus, or some other savior is going to magically descend from the heavens and lead us all in a revolution. That is something we will have to do ourselves. We will have to reach and teach the masses ourselves. How chuddy do you think the Russian or Chinese masses were before socialism? What do you think would have happened if Lenin, Mao, Castro, Malcolm X, or other revolutionaries gave up on their own people and succumbed to defeatism instead of fighting for socialism?

Malcolm X once said that if you want freedom, you have to be willing to pay the price for freedom (and that could mean any number of unpleasant or uncomfortable things), in the same way the American bourgeoisie were willing to fight and die and make sacrifices for their freedom from the English crown. Are you willing to pay the price for freedom? If not, (and it seems that you wouldn’t be willing) then I honestly ask you what your point is here on earth, and what differentiates you from all the other chuds you live around.

Do you know any leftists at all in your area? If so, start something with them. If not, and there’s zero leftist prescence around you such that it’s a complete dead end, is it possible at all for you to move somewhere else or switch careers or find work elsewhere?

Everytime there’s a “happening” (ukraine crisis rn, BLM protests in 2020, gamestop stock thing, palestine protests last may, jan 6th etc) there’s usually discourse online over whether it will “fizzle” (turn into nothing and forgotten by everyone in a week) or “sizzle” (lead to something signifiant). Sizzlechads are people who think something will happen out of the event.
