A socialist country which allows people to put up own businesses would have some kind of “free-market” where you can open a Pizzeria and have to compete with the guy next block who also happens to have opened a Pizzeria. Under such society competition would arise between the self-employed where someones Pizzeria would win the competition by making cheaper Pizza or whatever and therefore gain more customers (customers which the competitors Pizzeria would loose which then again lead to the competitor eventually loosing his shop) We would see the problems of capitalist society or at least some aspects of these rise up in such a scenario.
No, its useless. By voting you will simply change the colour of the genocide-machine from red to blue or vise-versa. It doesn’t matter if Genocide Joe finances Israel to bomb babies or if Trump does, the babies will be blown up into pieces either way.
idk, i was like this for a time but now im looking forward to officially join the communist party of my country and have gone to two protest and helped the communist party distribute flyers. Praxis can be a lot of things but most importantly it is to connect with fellow leftists and to organize either your workplace or the party.
Anything from going to a protest to putting up stickers of an organization is a 1000% more than anything any of these “armchair-leftists” will ever do, not because they cant, but because they are comfortable with their position in society (be it petit-bourgeois or labor aristocrat) and dont actually want a revolution to happen any time in the future.

Hi GenZ here, we’re just tired of politicians doing nothing but licking the boots of corporations and financing genocides yet ignoring the ongoing climate crisis that will kill all of humanity if we dont do something about it. It is our future that is in risk, not the one of the boomer politicians and we need to take action for it.
fascism never went away. Obvious examples are ex-communist states like the Baltics and Ukraine which have been turned into racist banana republics by intense “decommunization” and the revival of pro-nazi rhetoric of the second WW. Ofcourse with the help of their Western allies.
maybe not nothing. As a westerner, i think that in most cases you are seen as “second humans” not worthless, not inhuman but you will never have the kind of treatment and class like that of a European in the west.
I feel like the people here pity primarily white Israelis and secondly the Palestinians who are being bombed because they are “more civillized” and the Palestinian civilians dying are unfortunate collateral damage that has to be taken in order to protect “the only democracy in the middle east”

Not as much as it used i’d say. They will restrict them from being openly gay and talking about certain stuff but i dont see concentration camps happening any time soon. We are experiencing a new kind of fascism, a progressive fascism which play the same roles of “the civilized world needing to conquer and lecture the uncivilized world”. But this time, “progressive” politicians sprinkle gay rights into the equation where being part of the civillised world means “showing off” your gay rights and inclusivety ,these things by themselves are not wrong but are currently being used as excuses to invade other countries/ finance terrorists/ militants of political opponents. Now, even the “progressive” democrats are using terms and language that Nazis and Colonizers have used to justify their imperialism.
