Well…it is.

The US just changed the date from May 1 as a “screw you” to the USSR.

It’s probably going to influence the world for 1000 years. 🤐 We still talk about Ghengis Khan.

You bought it in your country.

Somehow I don’t think Americans are the problem here.

I think I am depressed or bored or something.

What you’re suffering is called burnout. You need to do something else for a while, possibly a long while. Switch to a different genre or even a new hobby. You need novelty, what you’re chasing is that thrill of experiencing something new. It wears off after a while. To experience novelty again, you need new experiences.

Clowns. God, I’m so sick of scary clowns.

I get it, Stephen King was frightened by a clown as a child and never let us forget it.

I once watched a little Japanese movie called “Noroi: the Curse” which was super cool. The psychic character was particularly memorable, as he’s the only one that understands what’s going on, but he’s super autistic so nobody pays any attention to him. It’s also a great snapshot of modern Japan and keitai culture circa 2004 (the same year as Lost in Translation immortalized). Highly recommend you download it. It has the creepy reality, we don’t have to make anything up, aesthetic in spades. Zero jump scares.

Well, it shouldn’t…it should be consumed immediately after cooking. That’s pretty much all foods, honestly.

a bad batch from the factory

It arrives at your grocery store in a half a cow sizes. The butcher carves it into pieces.

If anyone gets sick from eating meat it is almost always due to undercooking. Cooking meat does a fantastic job of pasteurization. Sometimes it can get contaminated by the environment, such as being left out for hours on a buffet line or something (see above; consume immediately).

You want to know the really dangerous food? Bean sprouts. More people get sick from that in a year than all meats put together. Why? Raw vegetable (no pasteurization) and lots of cracks and crevices for germs to hide and evade washing.

That cheese food product is just a vehicle to consume salt. Like oh so many of the foods Europeans heartily enjoy eating (but scoff at Americans for creating). It is 100% psychological projection. You take something you despise about yourself, project it onto The Other, and then criticize The Other for doing it.

It’s a proven technique that works. It relieves damaging cognitive dissonance.

That was a long time ago, Grandpa.

Thailand is a happy and fun vacation destination for people who don’t mind 12 hour flights. Vietnam? Not so much.
