My parents despise each other at times. They fight all the time and been together almost 40 years. Dedication and commitment and less of a focus in the type of live we usually think of. But also my parents are kind of religious and they value marriage for other reasons as well
Moore’s law is still in effect. Computing power is rapidly increasing in density every two years. The stuff you can do with it is just becoming more niche. Laptops are representative. Rtx 3060 has 13 billion transistors and a gtx 1060 4.4 billion.
Gtx 1060 came out 2018. 3 years ago. Moore’s law is that things double every 2 years or so. It seems right. Granted it’s not a perfect correlation and somethings are better or worse and it’s on average doubling every 2 years.
Art is part of organizing. You wouldn’t want Andy Worhol organizing when he would be a far better propagandists for the movement. And an actual left wing movement needs all types of people. It needs accountants and janitors and cooks not just soldiers and general.
“Pitch in however you can” is the slogan of an organizer. I don’t organize but I don’t a few thousand a year to lefty groups. They need money, they need resources, and they need physical help in equal measures.
Wait why wouldn’t they have a reaction? Of course they would be angry at the call of being called imperialist. They probably would think you’re CIA trying to make them look bad lmao. Maybe instead of wasting time trolling you should actually organize with them to move them left.
We need to teach kids how to organize. People know about general strikes. I’ve talked to leftists who don’t know the first thing about organizing. It should be our expertise like it was in the 40’s - 60’s. Like we should have pamphlets, Facebook posts, Instagram, TikTok etc that teaches kids how to organize in their community.
This is the opposite of based. Nobody has been able to sell USSR style communism and nobody wants it. It’s fighting against cold war propaganda about the USSR instead of actually abandoning toxic symbols and simply talking about actually leftists issue. Better: Make the default home page a union page if it goes to other people. Have a picture of Bezo’s Yacht with him laughing and text saying , “We can’t afford to give you a raise.” Or the tweet saying Bezos thanks you for your labor.
Basically: this is mask off behavior and does more harm then good and it’s just virtue signaling to people who already agree with you.
The water we use in households for drinking is literally a fraction of the total water 75% is used in farms. 99% of the corn grown is not eaten. 70% is used for feed, and the rest is burned for fuel. Sorghum is grown in Arizona where it eats up water. They literally just farm it to sell it he Saudis so they can have grow beef. All because farmers make pennies on literal tons of food. We will have water rations so the farmers won’t be angry.
