  1. If someone claims something happened on the fediverse without providing a link, they’re lying.
  2. Downvotes mean I’m right.
  3. It’s always Zenz. Every time.

Personally I’ve gotta go with Paranormal Activity. So much of the movie is literally just watching people do normal day-to-day stuff, which is supposed to “build suspense,” but I just found it incredibly boring. Nothing happens at all for literally half the movie. The plot is the same unimaginative slop of haunted house evil ghost of every generic horror movie of that era. I also hate the whole, “found footage” shakeycam stuff because to me it completely breaks immersion and suspension of disbelief. Does that do it for people who actually believe in ghosts or something?

There’s literally not a single interesting thing about the movie, and not even anything fun to critique or make fun of, it’s just boring. If you’re thinking about watching this movie, instead, go out and watch an empty pool for an hour, then watch the trailer, and you’ll have seen everything that the movie has to offer.

I made this alt account for the sake of wider federation but I’m regretting it.

We’re very grateful for that, but we’re also going to have to bring you in for reeducation and Clockwork Orange you with cooking shows until you can only make pancakes through mundane processes. I’ll talk to my superiors though and see if they can throw in like a $20 gift card for the whole wizard murdering thing.

It also led me to discover the cognitohazard of Polcompball Wiki.

I never thought I would see Posadism on a list and think, “Oh finally, a real ideology.”

Shroedinger’s Russian nuclear arsenal. When there’s a story about risking escalation, libs tell me it’s fine because Russia doesn’t have the money to maintain its nukes, so it’d only be a “limited” nuclear exchange. When this story comes out, the libs tell me that Russia has a much larger and better maintained nuclear stockpile, so it’s only necessary for the US to spend more on it to catch up. It’s sort of the same way that Russia simultaneously is on the verge of defeat, yet also has the intention and capability to conquer all of Europe, like Hitler, if we don’t stop him here.

The enemy is both strong and weak, and you never know which one it’s gonna be.
