Glad you enjoyed it! It was a really interesting heist type novel with some great world building. Cool how it basically started its own ‘cyberpunk’ genre.

I’ve read Project Hail Mary - that was great fun, and went to interesting places I wasn’t expecting.

11/22/63 is one I’ve been wanting to read. Will definitely do so at some point next year!

What did you think of Neuromancer? I finished that not too long ago.

Wow that’s a lot! Do you have any particular favourites of the ones you read?

Darken the image and add some candles, and this would be like one of those pre-rendered backgrounds from the early Resident Evil games.

Something like this…

This is just a beach hut on the South coast of the UK - probably somewhere near Bournemouth. They’re pretty common - usually hired out for a day or so, to let you chill out by the sea with some shelter. I imagine buying one of these and renting it out is pretty lucrative.

Thanks for this! I think I’ll leave them as they are for the time being, and suggest a perlite mix once I gift them (don’t want to disturb them too much in a short space of time). I’ll check that channel out!

Thanks for this! So should I stick my finger in the soil to test the moisture level? Do you know how much light I should give these plants?

I’d love a new open world Red Faction game. Guerilla was so fun!

The far-right constantly creates these scapegoats to get the populist vote. How exactly is ‘woke capitalism’ as he calls it, hurting anyone? It isn’t. But it makes for a good headline and something for the racist/homophobic voters to rally on.

The irony being that if banks encouraged Christian values and a nice nuclear family that wouldn’t be a “set of social and political ‘values’ we should align to”, right? /s

Thanks for these suggestions - I hadn’t heard of the author. The first one you mentioned has a particularly interesting setting, on an East India ship!
