We had a horrible neighbour whose behaviour more or less left us unable to enjoy our garden. I don’t know whether they were evicted or moved on their own, but we bought a bottle of bubbly when we realised they’d gone.

This belongs in boringdystopia.

Moving to Ireland. Better than the UK in almost every way.

Maybe they could have spent some of that money on Simplenote maintenance & development.

Having recently migrated, the only things I miss from the UK are:

• Public right of way networks (country trails, etc)
• Slightly more stable weather
• Slightly cheaper coffee & chocolate
• Starling bank

Amazing how versioning can give an air of legitimacy through the illusion of progress.

Somewhat sickening. I wonder how many participants will now withdraw consent.
