SHOW_ME_YOUR_ASSHOLE
Almost reminds me of the Jamie Taco sketch from I Think You Should Leave.
I’ve just used Ubuntu since the early 2000s. I know people have plenty of grievances with Ubuntu and Canonical but Ubuntu has always just worked for me. There is tons of documentation and the user base is so huge that it’s easy to get questions answered.
Years ago I had a similar problem that was resolved by changing the method of I/O scheduling.

I’m not sure which one I used or if this is still relevant with modern Linux but it’s something to look into that might help.
I’d have to take a look at you to be sure.
Honestly my recovery wasn’t an issue. I just layed on the couch and played video games. Any discomfort was outweighed by the joy of never having kids.
I’m confused, didn’t Clint Eastwood make the movie Gran Torino? All I remember about that movie was that there was an old dude who hated the foreigners moving into his neighborhood until he actually got to know them and then defended them with his life. That sounds pretty woke to me?
I drink them pretty regularly.
Three years between season 1 and season 2? This is why I wait until shows wrap before I start them. Half the time no one is sure there will even be a 2nd season and half the time it’s a multi-year wait between seasons. It’s no wonder that so many shows get canceled after a season of two. Who wants to get invested in a story that may not pay off for 10 years if it even makes it that far?
