Football is fun. Players seem to enjoy playing it. Head bashing has been much less prevalent the last few years.
Nah cancelling is more about the act of a cancel campaign than the end result. Yes, cancel campaigns aren’t very effective vs. people who are rich and influential.
There are a lot of people here comparing youtube to TV. The thing with TV was it was hard to just watch it ALL day. Youtube /internet kids can be on it for 5-10 hours a day easy. There’s endless content, like all social media nowadays it is intended to keep you using as long as physically possible. Yeah there were people who rotted their brains watching TV all damn day, but it seemed much rarer than it is with kids who are given personal devices when they were toddlers.
I fear parents who don’t limit screen time are setting their kids up to become chronically anxious NEETs.
It used to be taboo for women to express sexual desire. I’m sure women “playing hard to get” when they were actually interested was a very real thing. Of course the concept has major problems, but we’re all aware of that here.
