It’s stereotypical but not racist by itself. Racism implies some sort of discrimination. It could be used in a racist way, but most of the times it isn’t. I am not saying that stereotypes should be propagated, either. Stereotypes are problematic in their own way and can lead to racist actions. I understand the movement to remove words like this from popular vocabulary, but I just think that it’s important to call things what they really are by definition.
