I picked up the acronym GSRM (Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities) from the r/lbgt sub a while back, and I always thought it kinda slick. It’s a very obscure term, though, and when I use it I find myself explaining it heaps, which kinda defeats the purpose of an acronym.

It’s a better place than America, at least. Tax funded healthcare, cheap tertiary education, better beaches.

It’s exhausting arguing about Tito with fascists. You have to really yell to be heard all the down in those coal mines.

For most of my life, I was just some apolitical Labour wonk (aust). Then I got into green politics around the time Sanders started to gain a bit of momentum back in 2019. I joined the CTH sub, thinking that me, now an enlightened Demsoc, would be able to ignore all the communists and just focus on the massive amount of Bernie posting at that time.

I just v i b e d on that sub for a bit, until I was linked to a local leftist discord server in a thread. I joined, and they dragged me kicking and screaming into full blown Marxism. Bernie’s electorialism failure played no small part in my downfall. Now I’m here.

Oh, and there was also some bouncing around r/politcalcompassmemes, but I stopped frequenting it when it got a bit fash. I left it entirely after realising just how shit the compass was from a materialist perspective.

To the vast majority, it looks fuck ugly. To me, it looks fuck ugly.

It only looks good to a niche group of Architectural enthusiasts and Soviet LARPers. There’s a reason why the announcement of a brutalist building is usually met with community ire. It’s not because they’re unenlightened fools, it’s because people don’t want a lifeless, concrete husk taking up space in the town square.

I was planning for the day I could spring this artwork upon an unsuspecting audience.
