There was a single person killed this morning, four injured, two seriously. More arrested. Currently, the government seems to be trying to conduct raids and arresting a bunch of people. Sources of al-jazeera (they also have the article in english) are the red crescent and palestinian health ministry, their website seems to be down and I don’t have twitter and currently only getting used to nitter. Settler attacks have been on the rise.

Further stuff: PA seems to be willing to be the accomplice of the Israeli gov, but they seem to lack the ability to pull it through, having been “a new chance” by Netanyahu after failing to fulfill security functions earlier this year. I mean, if you ever were powerless, being able to hit back harder is a pretty relatable goal and nurturing grudges is not so demonic to me. I mean, how many people in here wouldn’t like to see some certain people in society

I have experienced extremely conservative people with burning hatred for some people, but enough fake affection for “kin” and social facade. Maybe amerikans are indeed satanic enough. I am not saying there is no hate, nor that this incident shouldnt be exploited. More that thinking that is how their brains are wired 100% misses some points
I am in a place where I could pick some friends who are understanding. They get the emotional effort. I generally feel most people who are not ND or trans will just hate my ass anyway, so I don’t owe them more than not being mean. I guess I do have to pick things apart one by one. I just was looking for some ressources of angry culture nerds who already transcriped and organized every single line of Fallout 4 dialogue or something I guess, lol
I dont want to fit in. Believe it or not, but I am not gonna be able to pass and mask, ever. I think being able to understand and say what is wrong with say, the worldview of Game of Thrones, is a useful skill. Or discussing handmaiden’s tale. Now, I am specialized in some other cultural area. But it is hard to do what would be thorough cultural criticism of every single popular anglo poduct on my own. I understand I sometimes have to do these things. This is not asking about how to conform to this shitfuck society. This is more asking on where to get the knowledge to gently but firmly criticize the minutae of its cultural industry better
I see. Most people around me have taken the grillpill about entertainment. I tried exposing myself to stuff I found was silly and wrong but it is a lot of effort, especially as a side hustle so I hoped somebody else did that for things already. And I of course know how to do struggle sessions without being too mean. Like I personally think people prefer when I say my honest opinion instead of keeping silent. I will not say “you are a nazi fo watching this”, but I want to change people’s minds and patiently waiting for me to land a position where I can do this perfectly is worse than telling them what I think (without being an ass)
I think I phrased it wrong. Sorry about that. I meant more for stuff like “making clear why things like Goblinslayer are not just A R T, but actual nazi propaganda-level drivel” without spending hours and braincells on these things than necessary, maybe for less arcane things, like Song of Ice and Fire as an example instead of sleazy weebshit
