I actually met one 5 or so years ago in an ICU who was convinced that I had AIDS because I was trans and could get it by breathing the same air, and my favorite that I had just attempted suicide for attention because that’s what removed did. If I hadn’t been connected to enough machinery to run a small factory I’d have throttled her. Of course that anger was also partially from doing dialysis 24/7 for 8 days straight
