Watching Life on Our Planet and have to say, it’s a bit shit… It’s not really even pretty enough to excuse the lack of cohesive story. The first episode was probably the worst, it was like some never ending trailer that cut just as you got interested.
Rediscovery how much I hate important services running 9-5pm, have 2 parcels at the post office I’m never going to get to in time.
Definitely feeling the new job fatigue today, and having “oh my god this is real” anxiety.
Didn’t realise how not worn in my leather shoes are because I didnt really have to wear them in my old job, heals have been shredded.
Ouch, forgot how much finishing at 5pm to be home by 6pm (if you’re lucky) sucks!
Halfway through the first day at my new job, the panic/anxiety is palpable, but I think I’ll be fine. Just have to remember that not only am I starting a new job, I am also stepping out of the shift work bubble I had built over a a very long period of time.
Watching Unforgotten and I always forget how brilliant Nicola Walker is, she does tend to play the same sort of character, but she really does nail it every time.
