It works by encouraging union and co-ops, actually punishing companies that break laws, and providing social safety nets. Basically everything this comic points out.

Bitcoin also processes a tiny fraction of a percent of global transactions and uses a ton of power in the process. Decentralization may be the answer, but Bitcoin definitely isn’t.

Gonna go on Countdown with the line “Dictionaries aren’t rule books, they’re record books” and fight Susie Dent.

Taravangian’s brain:

Day 1. How lucky these miserable people are to suffer for my greater good!

Day 2. Crying king noises.

Ok that was actually a really interesting article, and at least anecdotally, explains a lot of my own experiences. Procrastination as an emotional regulation problem, rather than self control, makes a lot of sense.

I like the idea of method acting as a way to start on things.

This is a poorly written article. The FBI did not access computers randomly looking for the botnet like it claims, they used the botnet infrastructure to uninstall itself.

There are still extremely valid privacy concerns here, especially considering potential applications of plain view laws, but it should still be presented factually.
