The discord needs to die or migrate to a different platform. It’s fucking harebrained to remain on a centralized corporate platform when alternatives exist. The only obstacle is momentum. The longer it exists, the bigger that obstacle becomes.

Posting this here because my reddit acct was suspended:

I was just reading wikipedia entries on famous murder cases, as one does, when I came across this detail in the Unicorn Killer’s case:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ira_Einhorn

After finding the body, a police officer reportedly said to Einhorn, “It looks like we found Holly,” to which he reportedly replied, “You found what you found.” Einhorn’s lawyer, Arlen Specter, negotiated bail of $40,000; he was released from custody after posting a bond of $4,000, or 10% of the $40,000. This was paid by Barbara Bronfman, a Montreal socialite who married into the wealthy Bronfman family and met Einhorn through a shared interest in the paranormal.[5] During Einhorn’s flight he was again aided by Bronfman, who continued to support him financially until 1988, when she read Steven Levy’s damning book on Einhorn, The Unicorn’s Secret.[5][10]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronfman_family

The Bronfman family is a Canadian-American Jewish family.[1] It owes its initial fame to Samuel Bronfman (1889–1971), who made a fortune in the alcoholic distilled beverage business during American prohibition through the family’s Seagram Company.[2]

"I am passionate about and proud of the work the Sheriff’s Office does for all members of this community,” Coverley said in the written statement issued Tuesday evening by the Douglas County public information officer. “This has been a difficult time to be a law enforcement professional and can be disheartening when we perceive that our office may be under attack.”
