Not sure I’m on board with this one. Sure, swappable batteries are cool, but that’ s not something I really need, and the inherent bulk of battery enclosures isn’t either. And battery swap isnt that hard, actually, the chinese guys have figured this out, they can make any kind of battery you want, and a worker at a local store can learn to perform the swap with just a few hours of training.
What I’d like instead is something about 18650’s, they are everywhere but you cant buy them officially because battery manufacturers only sell them to other manufacturers to pass liability onto them, but they just wrap them in plastic and then people handle them willy-nilly. Maybe dd battery safety to school curicculum and make 18650 the new AA?
Regional prices are fair on one hand, but on the other, they open up opportunities for abuse leading platforms to implement region-locking, where you can suddenly find your library unavailable or even entire account inaccessible when noving between countries. That’s the case with steam and spotify, and a few others I can’t quite remember. But yeah, I feel your pain, I even felt bad for that one ps4 my friends used to share between them like that girl in 5 guys meme just because sony doesnt do regional pricing and the games were at times more expensive than their entire PC’s.
The US should certainly bugger off and stop shitting on USSR Russia’s doorstep. Go overthrow some some South American governments like you used to instead.
As for EU, let Ukraine in and fight for them if you like them so much, wankers. Why waste money on weapons just to fuel the war knowing full well that Ukraine doesn’t have the manpower to win it? And I don’t buy the “weaken the Russia” argument. The Russian military equipment is crap but that crap costs the same amount in rubles as western equipment in dollars. So, literal pennies to a dollar given the current exchange rate.
Kremlin propaganda has no place on lemm.ee
This is worrying. What exactly constitutes “Kremlin propaganda”? Sounds like a personal gripe which is now imposed as an instance-wide rule, which makes this instance topical, at which point you might as well defederate
Meanwhile, I think I’ll have to switch instances. I hate the Russian government, and I condemn the war in Ukraine, but I do not support Ukraine either, I support both Maidan and the rebellion that followed, I oppose USA’s imperialist politics and I will fight against any attacks on Russians based solely on their nationality. If “Kremlin propaganda” is banned, it is only a question of time until I step on that mine.
Exactly. Right wing or not, the coup had majority support and they toppled the regime they considered oppressive. But the new government indeed ended up being the same shit as before, and the eastern states who considered the new government oppressive had all the rights to fight for secession. Though, actually, both were illegitimate, but laws are just words on paper in ex-USSR countries, so I consider anyone who considers either one legit, and another not, to be propaganda pushing fucks.
You should see Russian law majors faces when Taliban envoys went to Kremlin and got their diplomats approved by MFA, even though the supreme court has ruled that Taliban is a terrorist organization and any of it’s members should be arrested on sight and put in jail for 10+ years just for being a part of it. And now we get people who, under one law, are terrorists and have diplomatic immunity at the same time…
Please stop reposting this crap every fucking day. What’s up with you and this exact article in particular anyway? Are you getting paid or something?
