People will decide what is best for them. Blocking access to websites for having ad blocker or having no ad blocker is an asshole move. I know it is intended for pun, but still.

Encouraging and forcing is different. Just because forcing ad blocker on people is aligned with so many people’s view doesn’t mean that it is a great move. Anything that is forced on people is an asshole move.

I think it’s a bit silly to suggest that the Chinese government killed a bunch of statisticians at the National Bureau of Statistics for publishing this data that’s actually not as bad as you might in English language news sources.

That was a joke. I know China is not exactly like what the english news channel portrays.

Out of curiosity, just someone not supporting trans people or lgbtq are getting banned or they are taking asshole behaviour and spewing hate speech?

Edit: good fucking world. I am not against lgbtq. I am supporting it. I am a bi curious guy. I am all in for their civil rights. I was asking a question about why that guy was banned. For asshole behaviour or just having a different opinion. I don’t believe just for telling someone doesn’t care about lgbtq is not a reason for ban.

That’s all the reason I moved from lemmy.world to lemme.ee. I decided to keep that account for porn which also got defederated. Going to delete lemmyworld account.

I was on lemmy.world. It has some power tripping admins and also most of the time it is under attack. So I switched to the current one and it is fine and fast and stable most of the time.

Modern problems require modern solutions. They deleted the data. Now unemployment disappeared. Also the people who posted the data.
