Of course that’s what that means, because of course everybody else must dissemble and speak in double talk as much as I do, they couldn’t possibly just be saying the words that mean what they actually mean to say.
Nobody protects kids who are the victims. It’s sad but true and it carried into adulthood. It might sound barbaric but martial arts, boxing, these things are life changers for kids who are on the receiving end of violence because the principals and teachers can’t or won’t do anything.
I just listened to the Emptiness Machine, it’s pretty good. I haven’t listened to Linkin Park since the tragedy and it feels weird and a bit sad to go back to them. But I like the song, and I’m glad they went with a female singer, it feels more like he wasn’t replaced but just added to. And I’ve always liked bands that combine female and male singers, Eternal Idol is one of my favorites in that regard. But yeah, I like the song, can’t wait to hear the whole album.
Edit: just started watching a bit of that live video, really emotional hearing them start up somewhere I belong, that’s why I haven’t listened to them since it happened. I’ll go back to it a bit later.

Reparations should be given not in the form of direct monetary payments, but massive investment in black communities and especially schools and scholarships. All black people in America suffer from systemic racism, so build a system they all benefit from regardless of who their ancestors were. Giving out monetary reparations won’t solve any problems. This system will provide permanent benefits to all current and future black Americans.
