Let me be honest: every hexbear user I have taken note of has had a massive chip on their shoulder. They want to be targets of hate. They are trolling. If theres been any besides them, I haven’t noticed. It’s not even agreeing or disagreeing with anything any particular hexbear has said. It’s just the attitude. Childish. Trolling. I am not impressed.
Edit: in short I would say defederate if you want. Nothing of value would be lost.

As someone who worked at RadioShack, I would only want to bring it back if we could have owners who care about electronics and technology more and making profits less. I got to live the decline as they tried to become a cell phone store, and then got destroyed by big box stores and provider stores in that market. RadioShack would need to stay in its lane. Electronics, home theater, computers.
If you have a MicroCenter in your area, it will have all this for you, tho, so I honestly would pick ToysRUs. There just isn’t a real “fun focused” retailer anymore. Even adults could feel like kids at ToysRUs.

From my small sample size experience as a customer service rep for an internet and cable TV company, California customers are some of the most obnoxious ever. People in LA seem like some of the angriest people ever. The slightest inconvenience and it’s like you killed their fucking dog.
Sad to say, but it taught me that no matter how online and detached from reality a social situation is, it’s still governed by social norms. You will still be hated by others. Fat? You win be hated by people who don’t understand how you became fat. Gay? You will be judged for being different. Neurodivergent? God help you. And if you don’t believe in that God? There’s others like you in that respect that will make your look awful. Expect to be judged. Everywhere. Anywhere.
Reddit taught me that humanity is full of terrible people and you can’t escape them.
I made an account here on lemm.ee but I can’t login to any other lemmy instance (lemmy.world, beehaw.org, etc) and I thought it was supposed to be cross-login. Is it due to the influx of traffic from reddit that this is just not working as intended, or have I done something incorrectly?
Edit: Oh I see how it works. I can see content from all those other places if I go into Communities and then click All. Sorry for being a noob, I hope another noob sees this and learns!
