Legit leaving the site. The dog diet bit was annoying and got overblown but the way the site went full reactionary in response to a dumb veganism bit is disappointing to say the least. Though, this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me because the daily sitewide unproductive screaming matches have made it an even bigger waste of time coming here than normal. I just wanna shitpost for gods sake.

Anti veganism is reactionary. It’s literally as simple as that. Now, if you’re not vegan out of necessity, or even just ‘no ethical consumption under capitalism’ then fine, that’s alright. But don’t go baby mode when vegans make fun of loud and proud “carnivores” (who tend to be chuds, btw). It’s not hard to understand ffs.

I could imagine they/them pronouns being confusing for a child tbh. Like I use they/them but I don’t think they’re particularly good pronouns because it’s easy to confuse them for just referring to multiple people. And of course, I don’t know if replacing the rigid gender binary with no gender at all is any better for their development, especially when they would definitely be bullied mercilessly by both other kids and adults.
