Cannabis. Its an “other than honerable” or dishonorable discharge where you lose all benefits, but it gets you out in a couple of months.

Its almost a bad thing that “dont ask, dont tell” is gone. Its 100% an improvement to equality, but it was an easier out that anyone could use with a “general” discharge, leaving you with all the benefits.

Explaining the context is the best part of this meme, as long as you dont want that person to ever watch TNG with you.

Cops lie about OT systemically. Its absolutely rampant. The only consequence they ever get is either a few hrs suspension without pay or fired, and most states are happy to hire them next door immediately so they can do it again.

The term isn’t useless, it’s a weapon. They know the above is true, but they use it to mean “you better not say anything I dislike, or support anything I dont, or else.”

The difficulty of keeping something working scales exponentially as its complexity grows. Something of 1x complexity take 1y effort, but 2x complex is 10y effort, 3x complex is 100y, on and on.

Phones/computers/apps are at hilarious levels of complex now, and even 100k people running flat out can barely maintain the illusion that they “just work.” Add enshittification heaping its intentionally garbage experience onto the unintentional garbage experience that is modern computing, and it’s just gotten stupid.

Larian stated on their forum they fixed this behavior and shifted to https 3 years ago. When this was linked several times in thread, people asked OP when this screenshot occured, and OP ignored the questions. Pretty clear that this is a very old screenshot of what is now a non issue.

What’s to discuss besides OP trying to stir up drama about issues that were resolved years ago?
