yeah that was definitely one of the best parts of the game, the choices and consequences are so much more complex than i thought at first. unfortunately it loses some of its charm on a second playthrough but the first time i played it was an incredible experience

the bleiburg repatriations have been an infinite source of fuel for nationalism (at least in croatia, not sure about slovenia but i doubt they’re missing out). croatian chuds used to commemorate it yearly, but austria finally banned it about a year ago
