From chapter 1 of the flag code:
The flag of the United States shall be thirteen horizontal stripes, alternate red and white; and the union of the flag shall be forty-eight stars, white in a blue field.
The “union” of a flag is defined as the “upper inner corner” of the flag. So it does not define the size, but does define where it should be.
The flag code does specify where the blue should be though.
I bought a 13 recently and I love it. There’s really only a slight premium when you look at comparable laptops in terms of size/weight, screen quality, etc… but that premium is exactly why it’s feasible. They can sell laptops for $600 because they know you’re going to buy a brand new one in a few years. With Framework you can replace whatever you need to so long term maintenance becomes less expensive.
I’m not sure about Windows, but it works out of the box on Linux.
Maybe I’m old but I’m really getting annoyed with apps becoming so bloated with features. The podcast integration was part of why I left Spotify. I was tired of having podcasts pop up on my home screen. Tidal luckily is free from this for the moment.
“Do one thing and do it well.”

- It’s a general purpose instance. People tend to flock to those rather than more specific topical instances.
