I 100% support the intended message of this post (fuck cars, unilaterally), but this is a terrible way to get the message across. A decrease in size of something you carry is advantageous (so long as it doesn’t decrease below usable size), but a decrease something that carries you-and-freight is, ceteris paribus, a decrease in utility.

What if the appropriate volume is “lower”?

I’m truly impressed at how incomprehensible this post is to me. “Treat”, “struggle”, “hog” and “chud” all presumably mean something particular to you.

No insult intended - in-group slang is fun sometimes. It’s just kinda cool to be presented with it - reminds me of the Weird Old Internet.
