i can’t say my experience browsing this website has improved since this whole ‘federation’ business. i type ‘hexbear.net’ in my internet browser expecting to see posts from that website, but instead i see a bunch of posts from a different website called ‘Lemmy’ filled with some of the most reddit-brained people outside of reddit. (nevermind that half the posts are meta-posts about the site itself) i just wanna browse hexbear, dammit! if i wanted to browse those other websites i would just do that.

it’s the inverse Pascal’s Wager: sure, there’s no evidence that demons exist, but what if you’re wrong? if demons existed who could give you those abilities, you wouldn’t want to be among the fools who don’t believe in them! you have nothing to lose and everything (talking to animals and predicting the future) to gain!

We just came to hear about the history of a southern plantation, but -to my shock and horror- that’s exactly what we got!

what about the part in every episode where House talks to dr Wilson, who says something totally random and innocuous which gets House to realize what the cure is.
