You fucking heathen! I only use !
Our organisation has gone all in on Poetry, no regrets so far. The UX and dlscoverability is just so much better than the other options.
I do look jealously at languages that have great official tools like go
and cargo
though.
Excellent diagram, which clearly shows the effects of Imperialism.
The majority of the labour and raw materials come from exploited and under-developed Global South countries (since of course coffee is largely produced in poor countries near the equator) while the vast majority of profits (and tax!) are claimed by Global North countries, in the example the UK.
If there was a more even balance of power, one would expect that the profits could be distributed on the basis of hours worked, acres of land needed etc. which would see much more profit in the hands of the growers.
Gradle is absolute rubbish, definitely the worst experience I’ve had with a build system. But Maven is also rubbish.
IMO a CLI should be the primary way of interacting with the build system (see e.g. Go, Rust, JS with NPM or Yarn, Python with Poetry) and manually editing the build file should be reserved for edge cases and extensions.
Does one really need another dependency for this? Is cookiecutter/cruft not enough?
Nice if you use Django, are OK with the directory structure and don’t use Poetry. It feels like a decent personal project but not very generalizable.
No one cares about the rich assholes who own other car companies, so why Tesla? For example Toyota were some of the biggest campaign donors to Trump.
Also what does this have to do with Fuck Cars? This is about the minutiae of car culture… We should be talking about trains and bicycles here.
No, you missed the homeless encampments, forest fires and car centric cities.
There’s no apt install utopia

Are you confused because there’s more than one person in the world called Linus??
