I don’t think this is a very good argument. There were Jews who got out of Germany.
A lot got out before the War and the Final Solution started, but that was because the Nazis had internal disagreements over whether they wanted the Jews destroyed or just not in Germany. Hence stupid schemes like resetting German Jews in Madagascar.
All of the examples I’ve seen of Uighurs testifying about the “camps” were just let go by the Chinese. Thats the equivalent of a Jewish person being arrested, taken to a concentration camp, and then after some time the Nazis just let them go.
I can’t say that something like that didn’t happen, but I can’t imagine it happened to many Jews.
I lib could just retort that maybe this is a slower paced, or less well organized genocide than the Holocaust and they let the occasional Uighurs go for purpose of space or something, or perhaps their goal isn’t total distraction if the Uyghurs in their entirety but to just weaken their population enough that they assimilate into the Han population.
There’s better arguments against this propaganda, we should avoid ones that have easy comebacks because it just makes us look like contrarian China stans.

Personally I’m not so worried about what libs think. Expressing any balanced or truthful opinion about China that doesnt fit the state department narrative makes them call us Wumao CCP shillbots anyway.
