If you don’t like theory but do like debating veganism online, this doc has the most dense span of information you could ever get on standard factory farming practices at every stage for a huge array of animal derivatives.
And if you’re anti-vegan, watch it so when you argue against a vegan you actually know what you’re talking about.

Wish we could make titles longer so I could have written a better one. Set to NSFW as a TW
TW: Animal abuse, Slaughter
I really want to post Dominion in c/video, but not to start a struggle sesh. I would obviously put all TWs necessary, no shit-stirring or baiting.
I just want to give the opportunity to people who do not understand to see why we are so serious about animal liberation. But I don’t understand this website anymore…
It’s frustrating to me that people on this site don’t seem to consider animal liberation to be a ‘real’ liberation movement, like it’s something that white liberals do to feel better. No, it’s real and it’s urgent.
I hate it too :| Makes me feel so sad every time but I chose to see it as cognitive dissonance and ignorance hiding behind hate and feigned indifference.
I think the worst thing about it is that animal liberation is urgent even if you somehow decide that animals do not deserve the same level of consideration as our species. I mean we live in covid times, climate change is a fuck and so many vulnerable people are suffering working in the meat, dairy and eggs industries. The reasons to stop exploiting animals are plenty.
Exactly, I don’t think half of the people that get so angry would if they just understood the reality we’ve seen and caused a lot of people to go vegan in the first place.
Someone who gets offended at the comparison between slavery and animal farming doesn’t quite understand the imagery and practices of what animal farming has become.
It still boggles my mind that there are people who do not understand the point of the comparison. They are so specist that they can not understand that the point is: animal are as important as humans, not enslaved humans are commodities like animals.
Even though I will self crit and admit that using people’s suffering as a punchline is not a good strategy for education on any issue (especially on a site with many who live through these issues every day), let’s not pretend that this conversation was not hostile on both sides.
we won over a bunch of folk during the struggle session, so that’s cool at least.
