We’ve seen with the Snyder Cut that fans are totally okay with just literally going back and fixing movies. Disney should just go back an do an all-new sequel trilogy and say it’s in a different continuity to the first one, done and done.

I’d prefer if they just made a new trilogy every decade where the emperor just keeps coming back and they have to keep vanquishing him time and again

I prefer Jenny Nicholson’s idea of him getting a redemption arc and then joining the heroes on their adventures, still acting like Palpatine but inexplicable good

Snyder cut was risky but I enjoyed it. It also set up the next 2 justice league movies, which I guess aren’t getting made. The premise was really good so we missed out.
