Spartacus seems like a pretty big one that I haven’t seen mentioned. It was written by Dalton Trumbo who was previously blacklisted in Hollywood for being a communist. There’s a biopic about him called “Trumbo” starring Bryan Cranston that I’ve been meaning to watch.
